Croton plants (Codiaeum variegatum) are evergreen tropical plants known for their stunning red, green, and yellow patterned leaves—perfect for adding a vibrant touch to fall décor. Our designers artfully pair a colorful croton with seasonal autumn foliage and arrange it in a festive jack-o’-lantern pot. Many varieties of croton, including the popular Croton ‘Petra,’ make beautiful houseplants and thrive in sunny conditions and average room temperatures. Generally easy to grow indoors, crotons prefer temperatures between 60°F and 70°F. Keep them away from cold drafts, which can cause leaf drop. Mist the foliage frequently and keep the soil consistently moist during the summer. Container style, fall foliage selections, and ribbon color may vary based on local availability.
